2026–27 Season Outlook
HOLDWells has already earned Memphis minutes. Turning those minutes into more categories is the next challenge.
Jaylen Wells has established himself as a useful young wing in Memphis by providing size, perimeter scoring and enough two-way value to stay in the rotation. That matters in dynasty because secure minutes give developing players more opportunities to expand beyond the skills that initially earned them playing time. Three-point shooting and scoring provide the clearest fantasy path, but Wells needs more rebounds, assists or defensive production to separate from the large group of useful NBA wings who do not become difference-making fantasy players. Memphis has enough young talent that continued role growth has to be earned.
Wells has cleared the rotation hurdle. HOLD while waiting to see whether the box score becomes as dependable as the minutes.
