2026–27 Season Outlook
BUYBuy before the argument becomes obvious.
There are easier players to summarize than Jalen Suggs. The cleanest path to a jump is simply being on the floor more: DynastyAI projects 33.0 minutes after 27.6 last season. A 5.4-minute increase does not sound like a revolution until you remember that fantasy points are difficult to score from the bench. Jalen Suggs sits in the sweet spot where youth still matters but managers are allowed to demand actual NBA evidence. That leaves his No. 79 ranking in an interesting middle ground: valuable enough that managers cannot buy him for free, but not so expensive that the market has already priced in every good outcome. The appeal is that his current dynasty price may still be anchored more heavily to what happened last season than to what the next role could look like.
DynastyAI projects Jalen Suggs to move from 19.6 to 23.1 fantasy points per game, a gain of 3.5. His minutes projection moves by +5.4 per game, and his Opportunity score is 64.0. Those are meaningful changes for a player ranked No. 79, because even a partial realization of the projection could force the dynasty market to reprice him.
Dynasty take: the upside still appears cheaper than it should be.
