2026–27 Season Outlook
BUYThe box score may still be a year behind the player.
Start with the basketball instead of the spreadsheet: harper's rookie season gave San Antonio a young creator whose importance often felt larger than his regular-season minutes suggested. With meaningful usage already showing up in a limited role, a larger minute load could create a much faster fantasy jump than his rookie counting stats imply. His role expanded considerably during the Finals, giving the Spurs a chance to evaluate him in high-leverage possessions rather than simply developmental minutes. For Harper, Year 2 is less about inventing new skills than seeing how much of the offense San Antonio is willing to hand him.
DynastyAI projects Dylan Harper to move from 14.5 to 19.4 fantasy points per game, a gain of 4.9. His minutes projection moves by +8.4 per game, and his Opportunity score is 59.3. Those are meaningful changes for a player ranked No. 36, because even a partial realization of the projection could force the dynasty market to reprice him.
Dynasty take: the upside still appears cheaper than it should be.
